1. What are you most proud of accomplishing at Rebell?
This question when asked in any context seems like it should be the end of something. I’m not even close to what I thihnk I could accomplish and that’s the beauty of Rebell, the goals one can achieve, accomplish are numerous. To date I would say one of the things that’s surprised me is how strong I’ve become. During “press week” I was able to press 24k x 4 / 28k x 2 & 32k x 1 for 5 rounds. What!!
2. What has been your biggest challenge in regards to strength training?
One of my biggest challenges (and let’s face it there are many) in terms of strength training is learning when to take the day off. I need to learn how to be patient and listen to my body. The coaches have to constantly tell me to take a day off here and there, listening to them is a challenge for me but I am.
3. What advice would you give to someone who walks into Rebell for the first time?
It all starts with your attitude. There is always going to be someone stronger than you, in better shape than you, but no one can “out lift” your attitude! If you bring the right attitude to Rebell you will be amazed at the things you will accomplish and achieve.
4. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
This is a tough question, right now in heavy rotation is “Something to Save” by George Michael.
“If you’ve got something to say
Why don’t you say it
If you’ve got something to give
Whey don’t you give it to me
Cause I have no secrets from you
And I have nothing left to hide
And I’m open to all your questions
Why can’t you reach inside
Like I have, Like I have for you . . .”
